Work, names and some sad news
Last week I got call from a company that helps schools find people to take care of children who stay at school for their lunchbreak (overblijfkracht) and they told me they finally got some work for me and whether I could start the next week. (Note : at a lot of Dutch schools children from the age of 4-12 go home for their lunchbreak on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesdayafternoon is always off for them.)
So since Monday I finally have a job. It’s only 1 hour and 15 minutes a day but between fitness and charity work and seeing my psychologist every other week, it’s still nearly to much for me. Next week I will go to a different school and I have no idea whether they will need me all 4 days. I get 11 euro’s every time I work so that’s not bad at all. At least I can finally earn some money that I can really spent for myself.
I finally have some names for my mice after watching them and playing with them for 10 days.
Meet
Caria

Daria

and Haria

I noticed that Caria is really careful, Daria is really daring and not even afraid of Chewie and Haria just loves to sit in my hair.
I know that their names aren’t very original and at first I had wanted to go with more fancy sounding ones but they are more fun this way.
As for the sad news : last Monday I had to put down poor Kipje. He was getting more and more aggressive and when I examined him I noticed bumps underneath his skin and a tumor underneath his chin. The poor thing must have been in so much pain to turn that aggressive.
