Ingredients
- 1 pre-baked canned ham
- whole cloves
- 1 large can of pineapple slices
- 1 large jar of whole cherries
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
Equipment
- 9×13 glass oven dish
- a measuring cup
- a large knife
- oven mittens
Cut and heat up the ham.
2) Take the ham out of the package and put it in the middle of the oven dish.

3) Now use your knife to make diamond shaped ridges on the top and straight ones on the side of these diamonds.
Make the ridges by cutting out a small triangle from the surface. First cut on one side at a slight angle and then on the other side.
Try to keep the distance between the ridges between the lines even so it will look nicer.

4) Now put one clove in the middle of every diamond.

5) Put the ham in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Glazing and decorating the ham.
2) Take the ham out of the oven and take out all of the cloves. The flavor of the cloves will have soaked into the ham.
You don’t want to eat them because they taste really nasty and could break a tooth.
3) Pour all of the glaze over the ham. Try to make sure that you get it every where since this adds to the taste and makes sure that the ham doesn’t dry out.

4) Now put it in the oven for a total of 40 minutes while you pour the glaze over it every 10 minutes. This way it will be glazed 3 more times while it’s in the oven.
5) Take the ham out of the oven, it should now have a dark pink glaze on it.

6) Decorate it with the pineapple slices and cherries and pour some more glaze on it.

7) Put it in the oven for another 20 minutes and glaze it again after the first 10 minutes it’s been in the oven.
8.) Take it out of the oven, let it cool down for a few minutes and enjoy your ham!

Tip : it always looks nice of you put some pineapple and cherries on the slices of ham when you serve it. You may also pour some extra glaze on it to make it taste great allover.

Tip 2 : the leftovers make a great sandwich. Just add a slice of ham, some pineapple and halved cherries to 2 slices of bread and top with some glaze.
