I’ve been a Star Wars fan since I was about 5 years old and to me it’s great combination of fantasy and science fiction and I’m a huge fan of both. ![]()
The influence of Star Wars on my daily life.
I’ve been collecting Star Wars stuff for years and watched the movies on regular basis but once I started playing Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) it really became a part of my life.
I met my (now) ex-husband in the Mos Eisley Cantina in August 2004, about a month after I started playing, and after he guilded me, I met a lot of online friends with some of whom I still chat on regular basis. It’s a shame that SWG went downhill so quickly about a year after I started playing and I quit after about 2 years of playing.
My ex and I collected some really nice Star Wars stuff and his mom was even worse but I left most of it behind when we got divorced. This is what I currently have:

One of the things we liked to do was dueling with our FX lightsabers.
This picture was made during the Halloween of 2005 by the way, since we normally wouldn’t dress up for it.
In December 2007 my ex-husband and I got a matching tattoo (which I still don’t regret).

My car is really recognizable.

And in daily life I follow the Jedi Realism philosophy.
Star Wars Convention IV
When we heard that the 4th Star Wars convention was going to be held in Los Angeles we had to go of course. I’ve been going to Fantasy and SF conventions for years but it was the first time for my ex-husband and mother-in-law and our friend Danny.
Conventions in general are always a lot of much fun but I prefer the specific ones because everyone you meet a huge fan of the same thing as you are and that makes the conversations even more fun.
We didn’t get to see many things because we spent to much time talking with other fans and making pictures. ![]()

Me vs Jabba.
These are the Star Wars 3D pictures I made.

And then there is my dog Chewie of course.
